Provide skilled nursing care in a dynamic hospital environment as an MS Float Pool RN working primarily night shifts in Charleston, SC. This role involves floating to medical-surgical floors at the main hospital and Ashley River Tower, offering a diverse clinical experience in a Level I Trauma Center and Magnet-designated teaching hospital. Schedule and Hours: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM 7:30 AM) Minimum of 3-4 weekend shifts scheduled Holiday rotation required Facility may call off 1 shift every 2 weeks Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality patient care on various med-surg units, adapting to different floor needs and patient ratios Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient support Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC electronic charting system Adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols, including emergency assignments during hurricane season (JuneNovember) Qualifications and Desired Experience: Registered Nurse with current South Carolina or multi-state/compact RN license At least 2 years of nursing experience; new graduates will be considered Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Ability to float to multiple units and work flexible schedules as needed Availability to fulfill weekend and holiday shifts Location Insights:Charleston, South Carolina, is a vibrant coastal city known for its rich history, charming architecture, and thriving cultural scene.
