About the Role The Antibody Discovery Research Associate will support early‑stage therapeutic and tool antibody programs by performing experiments that contribute to antibody generation using single B cell platforms, screening, and lead candidate selection.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, collaborative research environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform hands on antibody discovery work flows including cell culture, multi colour flow cytometry to sort and analyse rare immune cell populations.
Develop, optimize and perform screening cell‑based functional assays.
Characterize antibodies by performing Elisa, SPR, BLI (Octet), Western blot.
Maintenance of cell lines, freezing, thawing, expansion.
Perform molecular biology tasks like PCR, cloning, transfection, sequence analysis, RNA/DNA purification methods, gel extraction as needed.
Ensure all experimental work complies with established protocols and SOP’s.
Maintain accurate and detailed experimental records and record all experimental data into Electronic Notebook.
Contribute to troubleshooting, optimization, and continuous improvement of discovery workflows
Compiling and analysing data by FlowJo, GraphPad Prism, and Excel.
Conduct analysis and effectively communicate results and present data at internal meetings.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to align with project goals.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills Required
BS. or M.S. in Molecular Biology, Immunology, Bioengineering, Biochemistry, or related field with 5+> years of experience working in a lab setting (industry experience preferred).
Experience with antibody discovery platforms including single B cell, hybridoma, or display technologies.
Proficiency in mammalian cell culture, in vitro assay development and flow cytometry.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
The ability to be a team player and collaborate with colleagues is critical.
Preferred
Strong understanding of B cell biology.
Experience working with antibody sequences, including CDR identification and diversity analysis
Hands‑on experience with multi‑color flow cytometry including panel design, staining, compensation, and data analysis/interpretation
Hands on experience with BLI or SPR.
Assay development and characterising antibodies using cell‑based assays and flow cytometry.
Comfortable working with high‑throughput screening tools or automation.
Experience with cell engineering technologies, such as transfection, electroporation, lentiviral transduction, and CRISPR.
Experience with high‑throughput antibody expression & purification.
Experience with cytotoxicity assays using T cell engagers
Innovative, detail‑oriented, and quality‑driven with a proactive mindset.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; able to translate complex data for diverse audiences.
Highly motivated self‑starter with scientific curiosity and a roll‑up‑your‑sleeves attitude.
