We are looking for a

temporary, full-time, experienced HR Generalist contractor

to assist one of our clients

for 3 – 6 months!

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional who excels in a variety of HR tasks including pre‑employment checks, employee relations, payroll, recruiting, compliance, FMLA, and more.

AZ HR Hub, a woman‑owned and founded company headquartered in Chandler, AZ. We partner with small to mid‑sized companies nationwide, delivering people‑first and compliance‑smart HR support.

What will I be doing for our Client? This position will serve as a primary point of contact for employees regarding HR‑related matters at our client's corporate office in Glendale, AZ. The role will work with a small team of HR professionals at headquarters.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday

Hours:

8:00am – 5:00pm

Pay:

$36.06 - $40.87 per hour (depending on experience)

Length of Contract (on a W-2):

Approximately, 3– 6 months

On‑site at 15132 W Camelback Road, Glendale, AZ 85340

The ideal candidate has a solid HR background with all areas of HR, knowing how to navigate through its complexities. This position is great for professionals who already have an understanding and experience using UKG and are looking for a short‑term, contracted assignment.

The variety of responsibilities may include:

On-site HR contact for all (HQ) HR matters.

Serves as HR liaison with continuous communication with HR MRO.

Assist payroll with HQ timesheets to ensure they are completed in a timely manner.

Administer FAA/DOT and Non‑DOT Random drug test working closely with DER.

Assist with personal LOA/FMLA requests.

Maintain and update HR forms, such as transfer forms and new hire forms.

Assi employees with benefit questions as needed.

Create and/or maintain employee medical files for change of status.

Process HR paperwork such as status changes, transfer forms, and termination forms.

Contribute or initiate HR‑related projects.

Assi employees with questions and interpretation of company policies and procedures.

Ensure employees are in compliance with training and may assist with training programs.

Complete intakes for employee relation issues and partner with HR MRO.

Assist in ensuring compliance with all safety regulations, including but not limited to OSHA, FAA, and Risk Management, in coordination with the Safety Manager.

Assist with on‑site employee injuries.

Assist the recruiting team by running background checks, submitting IT tickets, sending applicants for pre‑employment screenings, as necessary.

Works closely with the hiring managers to conduct internal and external recruiting campaigns, including but not limited to creating flyers, advertising positions, filtering resumes, setting up interviews, conducting interviews, as needed.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in business administration or human resources preferred or equivalent experience.

SHRM certified is a plus.

Minimum 4 years of Human Resources experience.

Must have experience utilizing UKG.

Experience implementing and maintaining HR applications.

Knowledge of labor law compliance – ADA, EEO, FMLA, CFRA, LOA, COBRA, etc.

Experience working within a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, and comfortable with change and ambiguity.
