Senior Accountant (Temporary-to-Hire)
Location: Vernon, CA
Pay Range: $45.00–$50.00 per hour
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our client’s team in Vernon, CA. This is a temporary‑to‑hire opportunity with a leading manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform heavy reconciliations for multiple accounts and ensure accuracy.
Lead and manage the monthly close process, including journal entries and accruals.
Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions and identify trends.
Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
Assist with audits and provide documentation as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or a similar industry.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (experience with SAP or similar preferred).
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Pay Details:
$45.00–$50.00 per hour
