Our client, a non-profit based in West Hollywood, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team and help ensure the accuracy and transparency of their financial operations. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing the organization's financial reporting, compliance, and budgeting processes. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for supporting a mission-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Manage general ledger activities, including reconciliations and journal entries.
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes.
Assist with annual audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and non-profit regulations.
Develop and monitor budgets in collaboration with department leaders.
Maintain accurate grant and fund accounting records.
Support financial forecasting and cash flow management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a non-profit setting.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and fund accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage Intacct) and Excel.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay Details:
$40.00 to $45.00 per hour
