Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced
ServiceNow Developer
to join our Service Automations team. This role is responsible for the administration, development, and optimization of the ServiceNow platform to support enterprise IT service management processes. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise, a strong understanding of ITIL practices, and a passion for automation and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and support the ServiceNow platform including Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, Asset, Configuration, Knowledge, and Reporting modules.
Perform system upgrades, patching, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure platform reliability and performance.
Develop and maintain workflows, scripts, business rules, UI policies, UI actions, notifications, and integrations using ServiceNow APIs.
Implement and enforce Role‑Based Access Control (RBAC), data security, and compliance policies.
Manage and maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to ensure accurate and up‑to‑date IT infrastructure data.
Stay current with the latest ServiceNow releases, features, and trends; recommend and implement improvements and innovations.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience as a ServiceNow Developer & Administrator, preferably in a large and complex enterprise environment.
Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, scripting, and functionality.
Certified ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD) certifications required.
Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, JSON, REST, and SOAP.
Deep experience with ServiceNow ITSM, CSM, and CMDB modules.
Solid understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
Technical Expertise
AI & Automation: Now Assist, Virtual Agent, Flow Designer, RPA
Scripting & APIs: JavaScript (server/client‑side), Glide API
Integration & Automation: REST, SOAP, Integration Hub, MID Server, Orchestration
Working Conditions
Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.
Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach on a daily basis.
Able to perform general office administrative activities: copying, filing, delivering, and using the telephone.
Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally.
Regular and on‑time attendance.
Must be able to prioritize schedule and complete testing required for multiple applications with overlapping schedules.
A certain degree of creativity and flexibility is required.
Hours may exceed 40 hours per week.
Occasional travel by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle, and the like within the region and to other locations as required.
