NATURE OF WORK
We are seeking an IT Technician to assist end users with Windows Office, printers, networking, and troubleshooting. This role handles desktop and server issues, including network connectivity, printers, hardware, laptops, email problems, MS Office, and basic Active Directory and DNS issues. It also involves maintaining and creating Power BI reports using Power BI and Excel.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Provide technical support to users via phone, remote desktop, and email.
Install and maintain end-user computer systems.
Support end-user hardware and software systems.
Train users on hardware and software usage and policies.
Maintain and update Power BI reports to ensure accurate data extraction and usability within the Client Case Management System, and to support the Project Manager with grant and program reporting.
Design and develop new reports and dashboards in Power BI and Excel, based on business requirements, to promote oversight and accuracy.
NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES, AND SKILLS
2+ years of experience in computer networks and systems maintenance.
Basic understanding of Active Directory Users, OUs, and Groups.
Experience with Power BI report development and Excel-based reporting.
Good organization skills to balance and prioritize work.
Certification as an IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft Certified IT Professional).
Excellent communication skills and the ability to relate to non-IT staff.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with advanced Power BI features such as DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
Ability to integrate Power BI with other data sources and services.
Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data visualization.
Knowledge of SQL for data extraction and transformation.
