Talent Acquisition Compliance Specialist This role sits within Talent Acquisition Operations and is focused on pre‑employment and offer compliance, not full‑cycle recruiting. The specialist ensures all hiring activity complies with Client’s policies, compensation guidelines, and US employment regulations (EEOC, OFCCP).

Location Lake County, IL Hybrid (3 days in/ 2 days remote)

Duration 12 Months + Contract on W2 (Possibility of full‑time conversion/ Extension)

Base Pay Range $42.00/hr - $45.00/hr

Key Responsibilities

Reviewing and maintaining offer letter and compensation compliance in partnership with Recruiters and Total Rewards

Serving as the TA subject matter expert for offer preparation and pre‑employment requirements

Owning the background check and drug testing process, including complex escalations (criminal history, MVR, falsification, social media, etc.)

Acting as the primary point of contact with Legal, Global Security, Employee Workplace Relations, EHS/Fleet, and other stakeholders during escalations

Ensuring accurate documentation, reporting, and audit readiness across TA systems

Supporting TA compliance training, process documentation, and immigration‑related matters as needed.

Ideal Candidates 2+ years of experience in TA Operations or HR Compliance, strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and experience working in a large, matrixed, high‑volume enterprise environment.
