Staffing Administrator, Workforce Staffing
Amazon is seeking a non‑exempt Staffing Support Associate to coordinate and execute High‑Volume Hiring (HVH) and staffing efforts for the Workforce Staffing (WFS) team across a defined geography.
Key responsibilities include:
Set up, execute, and break down New Hiring Events (NHE) and New Hire Orientations (NHO) based on labor projections to meet labor order demands and fill on‑time.
Support candidate activity ensuring all electronic paperwork is completed on time.
Provide follow‑up correspondence to candidates on recruiting status via phone and email.
Track recruiting activities and report candidate status.
Attend community fairs, hiring events, and job fairs.
Answer basic questions regarding recruiting process.
Generate basic reporting from Salesforce.
Identify opportunities for improving candidate experience and scheduling efficiency.
Assist in coordination of other recruiting activities as needed.
Assist in onboarding of new hires and departures of employees.
Perform administrative tasks as needed.
Effectively execute NHE activities such as Greeter, Welcome Event Presenter, Candidate Care Specialist, Computer Assistance, Badge Photo, and/or Drug Test Ambassador.
Work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and overtime as required.
Travel as needed to conduct events within designated node or geographical area.
Basic Qualifications
High school or equivalent diploma.
Experience in a fast‑paced customer‑oriented environment such as operations, administrative support, customer service, retail, hospitality, staffing, recruiting, human resources or related field.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access).
Current associates must be in good standing.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with Windows, Word, Excel, MyTime (Kronos), and PowerPoint.
Administrative tasks experience such as data entry and managing data‑driven reporting processes.
Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills with emphasis on tact and confidentiality.
1–2 years of experience in a high‑volume administrative support role or equivalent.
Prior work in Human Resources, Staffing, or Recruiting.
Recruiting assistant experience preferred; professional services experience desirable.
Comfortable speaking in front of large groups; roll‑up‑your‑sleeves attitude with urgency and friendly diplomatic demeanor.
Problem‑solving skills; troubleshoot independently and drive to closure with minimal supervision.
Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems or other reporting systems like Salesforce.
Excellent customer service skills with emphasis on confidentiality.
Organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritize amid competing demands.
Bi‑lingual skills are a plus.
Compensation and Benefits Total compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $15 per hour in the lowest market to $35.58 per hour in the highest market. Amazon may offer equity, sign‑on payments, and other forms of compensation.
