The Senior Accountant is responsible for the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and supporting compliance with all applicable regulations. This role involves helping prepare financial statements, analyzing financial data, and assisting with other tasks within the department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Help prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. Perform variance analysis and provide insights to management. Oversee accounts payable processes and assist with accounts receivable and payroll processes. Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred). Experience: 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting. Proficiency in accounting software. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Skills
