The Regional HR Business Partner serves as a strategic and operational HR advisor to 10 subsidiaries located across Canada, the United States, Mexico, and Brazil. The role offers front‑line support for urgent HR issues and leads on‑site execution of projects, investigations, compliance initiatives, and legal research. This position was created to meet the demand for hands‑on support across multiple countries and time zones, ensuring compliance, consistency, and agility. Responsibilities
Serve as the primary regional contact for urgent HR issues requiring immediate advisory or operational support Travel to subsidiary sites to provide hands‑on support for investigations, employee relations issues, or crisis resolution Advise local HR teams on labor law interpretation, compliance risks, and internal policy alignment across all countries in scope Coordinate and implement emergency response protocols for HR‑related incidents (e.g., misconduct, discrimination, policy violations) Lead or assist in investigations involving harassment, retaliation, or serious policy infractions, including report preparation Act as lead auditor for subsidiary HR processes, procedures, and documentation to ensure ongoing compliance and consistency Partner with local HR managers to identify process inefficiencies and lead the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives Monitor regional HR KPIs and metrics to identify risk trends and propose proactive mitigation strategies Provide rapid‑response support for executive requests or ad‑hoc analyses that require a regional HR lens Assist with policy roll‑outs, training, and HRIS alignment across subsidiaries, ensuring localized compliance and centralized governance Ensure subsidiaries remain aligned with company‑wide HR standards while tailoring practices to local labor requirements Maintain documentation and audit trails of site visits, projects, and investigations for governance and accountability Develop and deliver training or coaching to subsidiary HR teams on core compliance practices and emerging issues Support integration of new business entities or acquired subsidiaries into the company’s HR framework Facilitate cross‑border HR collaboration and sharing of best practices across the Americas region Provide leadership support to regional HR and project teams on large‑scale initiatives and system roll‑outs Represent the Sr. Manager of HR Strategy & Planning in high‑level meetings and steering committees as needed Assist in compiling regional HR reports and executive summaries for AHQ or global leadership Support the development and refinement of regional HR policies and templates to ensure consistent implementation Partner with Compensation, Legal, and Talent Development teams to align field HR practices with enterprise‑wide goals Compensation
$115,000 - $120,000 per year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection) Benefits

HR Auditing and Compliance: Demonstrated ability to audit HR processes, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions to improve internal controls and ensure procedural consistency (Required) Excellent Written and Verbal Communication: Clear, professional communication skills for preparing reports, delivering briefings, and facilitating executive discussions (Required) Presentation and Facilitation Skills: Comfortable facilitating workshops, leading HR training sessions, and presenting findings or recommendations to senior leaders (Required) Analytical Thinking and Risk Assessment: Ability to assess operational, legal, and reputational risk related to HR activities and recommend preventive or corrective measures (Required) Bilingual Fluency in Korean and English (Preferred) Education & Experience
