Associate Attorney

Job Description We are seeking an Associate Attorney to become a part of our team! You will represent clients in legal proceedings; draft pleadings, motions, and responses; advise clients; and support senior attorneys in complex litigation matters.

Responsibilities

Represent clients in court in landlord-tenant and debt collection proceedings.

Prepare and draft pleadings, motions, and handle trials.

Perform legal research and writing for complex litigation matters and appeals.

Advise clients on landlord-tenant and debt collection matters.

Negotiate settlements for legal disputes.

Comply with all legal standards and regulations.

Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.

Qualifications

Previous experience in law preferred

Familiarity with legal research and writing

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Ability to build rapport with clients

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Real estate and eviction experience preferred

Self motivated

Strong time management skills
