Job Description
Handle general liability and civil litigation matters from inception through resolution
Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery with guidance from senior attorneys
Prepare cases for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial
Appear in court for routine hearings and motions
Manage discovery, including document review and written responses
Communicate with clients and provide regular case updates
Collaborate closely with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff
Meet assigned billable hour expectations through efficient case management
Participate in CLEs and ongoing professional development
Qualifications
JD from an accredited law school
1+ years of civil litigation experience
General liability or insurance defense experience strongly preferred
Strong legal writing, research, and communication skills
Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines
