Maintenance Manager
to oversee the maintenance operations at The Bridges on Parkview, ensuring that all aspects of the facility are in top working order and meet regulatory standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Facility Maintenance:
Oversee the general upkeep and maintenance of the facility, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems to ensure the safety and comfort of residents and staff.
Preventive Maintenance:
Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to ensure that all equipment and systems are regularly inspected and serviced to avoid downtime or unexpected repairs.
Staff Supervision:
Manage and supervise the maintenance team, providing guidance, training, and performance management. Ensure staff adheres to safety standards and facility procedures.
Budget Management:
Assist in managing the maintenance budget, including controlling expenses, tracking supplies, and prioritizing repair projects. Provide recommendations for capital improvement projects.
Safety Compliance:
Ensure that the facility is in compliance with all safety codes and regulations, performing regular inspections and safety checks to maintain a safe environment for residents and staff.
Emergency Repairs:
Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, ensuring that issues are resolved quickly and efficiently to minimize disruptions to residents and operations.
Vendor Management:
Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance needs, ensuring quality service and adherence to facility standards.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of maintenance requests, repairs, and completed work in Upkeep platform. Provide reports on ongoing projects and maintenance activities as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Previous experience in maintenance management, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting (required)
Strong knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other mechanical systems
Experience managing a team and overseeing maintenance staff
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects efficiently
Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and organizational skills
Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly
