Responsibilities
The pharmacy technician is a licensed supportive person reporting to the Technician Supervisor, Director of Pharmacy and Staff pharmacists. Technical duties are performed under pharmacist supervision. This position is responsible for many aspects of the operation of the Pharmacy. The technician assists the pharmacist on management of drug inventory and completion of records. The technician will work within scope of practice as defined by California Pharmacy Law and defined by California Code of Regulations (CCR) 1793.7 and 1793.8 and Corona Regional Medical Centers scope of practice policy.
Qualifications
Current California Pharmacy Technician license required.
Knowledge of pharmacy operations.
Mathematical ability to measure and calculate mixtures.
6 months of Pharmacy Hospital Experience.
