Part Time - Pharmacy Technician
The pharmacy technician is a licensed professional reporting to the Technician Supervisor, Director of Pharmacy, and staff pharmacists. Technical duties are performed under pharmacist supervision. This position is responsible for many aspects of the operation of the pharmacy, including management of drug inventory and completion of records, within the scope of practice defined by California Pharmacy Law and the California Code of Regulations (CCR) 1793.7 and 1793.8 and the Corona Regional Medical Centers scope of practice policy.
Responsibilities
Assist pharmacist in managing drug inventory.
Complete required records and documentation.
Perform pharmacy duties within the scope of California pharmacy law.
Collaborate with pharmacy team to support patient care.
Minimum Essential Experience / Skills
Current California Pharmacy Technician license required.
Knowledge of pharmacy operations.
Mathematical ability to measure and calculate mixtures.
At least 6 months of pharmacy hospital experience.
