We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Sanitation Technician in our Lancaster, TX Meat Processing Facility. The Sanitation Technician will earn an hourly wage of
$23.28 - $25.20/HR
plus benefits depending on experience.
Responsibilities
Be directly responsible for maintaining the sanitation of the commissary plant equipment
Use all proper cleaning procedures so that it meets with both In-N-Out Burger and USDA standards
Clean and sanitize food processing equipment
Assist in reassembling equipment when necessary
Monitor and document chemical concentrations to ensure proper cleaning of equipment
Follow all safety policies and procedures at all times
Full-time position, Hourly (non-exempt)
Pay Range: $23.28 to $25.20/hourly DOE
Shift Hours
Shift Hours: 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m (Monday through Thursday)
Shift Hours: 12 p.m. to 8:30 p.m (Friday through Sunday)
2 Days off per week / Weekend and holiday availability required

Requirements
High school diploma or GED
One (1) year experience working in a meat facility or similar responsibilities preferred but not required
Sanitation experience in a food processing plant preferred but not required
Ability to read chemical labels and follow safe handling procedures for all chemicals used in cleaning activities
Physical Demands
Ability to lift a minimum of 70 lbs.
Ability to climb ladders and not be afraid of heights
Ability to withstand varied environmental conditions, such as cold and heat, extreme wet, within closed surroundings
Will work in cold, damp environments; will work in warm, damp environments
Production rooms are warm when cleaning them: 70-80 degrees
Will wear rain gear while hosing down equipment
Occasional work assignments in temperatures as low as 34 degrees Fahrenheit
Position requires frequent lifting, standing, reaching, climbing, pulling, stooping, bending, and kneeling
Maintain constant mental focus and constantly be aware of surroundings
