Registered Nurse (RN), Wound Care
Job Type: FT | DAYS
Commitment-Incentive Bonus: $10,000 - $25,000
Wage scale: $40.81 - $75.65 per hour
This is a Union Position.
How You'll Contribute The Wound Care RN is responsible for all assigned nursing care activities to include but not limited to wound care for patients of all ages and other clinical activities associated with providing safe patient care. The RN is responsible for following all WHC policies and procedures, care protocols and Diversified Clinical Services Practice Guidelines, as directed by a Registered Nurse, or Physician. The RN will be responsible for assisting with patient and wound care data conferences, and continuing education is required as determined by the Program Director.
Essential Functions
Performs duties as assigned and requested.
Completes focused patient assessments and reassessments based on patient's condition, procedures, medications, and treatments.
Adequately assesses and reassesses pain; utilizes appropriate pain management techniques.
Provides patient care and communicates effectively with patients of all ages and with specific needs.
Demonstrates knowledge of medications and ensures correct administration following the six rights to minimize medication errors.
Assists physicians with procedures and provides services requiring technical and manual skills.
Performs treatments and delivers care within licensure scope.
Ensures patient safety by performing all aspects of care in an environment that reduces the likelihood of errors.

Qualifications And Requirements Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor's degree or associate degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
BLS, ACLS required
1 year of experience required
