Position Overview
Bravo Recruiting Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team on a 12-week contract basis. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the direction of a licensed physical therapist to provide rehabilitation services to patients in order to help them improve their mobility, reduce pain, and regain function.
Responsibilities
Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing customized treatment plans for patients
Work with patients to perform exercises and stretches as prescribed by the physical therapist
Monitor patients during therapy sessions and provide feedback to the physical therapist on progress
Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for at-home exercises and self-care
Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately and timely
Maintain a clean and organized therapy area
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care
Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in all aspects of job performance
Qualifications
Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Nebraska
CPR certification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Previous experience working with patients in a rehabilitation setting is preferred
Location Omaha & Lincoln
