Job Type: Full-time
As an Assembly Worker (Level 1), you will be responsible for assembling and constructing products on a production line. You will follow written and verbal instructions to assemble products to specific specifications, using hand tools and equipment to fit parts together.
Responsibilities
Follow Standard Work Instructions (verbal & written)
Assemble units using various hand tools, assembly fixtures, adhesives, and lubricants.
Safely fasten parts and pieces together using specialty machinery and tools.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols during assembly.
Inspect parts and materials used in production to ensure quality.
Inspect each assembled piece for damage, loose screws/bolts, and other defects.
Verify correct quantities of parts and components.
Inventory Management
Maintain accurate records of parts and tools used in the assembly process.
Keep track of inventory levels and report shortages or excesses.
Adhere to company procedures, directives, and safety guidelines.
Work efficiently and effectively within established processes.
Test finished products for defects or malfunctions.
Ensure that assembled products meet quality standards.
Keep the assembly area clean, organized, and well-maintained.
Properly store and maintain the tools used for assembly.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, etc.)
Mechanical knowledge or experience is a plus.
Detail-oriented and able to follow technical instructions.
Ability to work well with a team and collaborate with other departments.
Physical stamina: Able to lift up to 20 lbs and stand/sit for extended periods.
Salary: $17.50 per hour
