Responsibilities
Conduct and oversee the safe execution of a turnaround during execution and close out phases.
Ensure all activities meet EHS performance goals, maintaining a safe work environment.
Lead, coach, and clarify safety questions for contractors.
Manage contract workers to maximize efficiency.
Coordinate all pre/post execution efforts.
Manage all field change logs that could affect cost, schedule, etc.
Act as frontline execution contact, accountable for direction, supervision, and facilitation of turnaround contractors and staff.
Serve as liaison between operations, QA, planning.
Plan schedule to utilize multiple contractors.
Ensure contractors have correct training for tasks.
Achieve completion of work avoiding rework.
Ensure timely incident reporting of any incidents.
Coordinate level two work with ops and contractors to maintain safety and efficiency.
Attend all validation meetings to verify job package completeness and correct stepping.
Provide input to execution lead and contribute to staffing plan for the turnaround.
Communicate with execution lead and turnaround team any input or ideas to improve safety and efficiency.
Walk with logistics coordinator to input logistics plan for real estate utilization.
Update change log and obtain signatures before turning it in to document control and discovery planner.
Contact sketcher and engineer to get drawing redlined and approved if a drawing doesn’t match field work.
Type a daily report of activities and any schedule deviations with brief justification.
Walk jobs in field to provide accurate schedule update to schedulers by 2:00 am/pm every shift.
