Position Overview — PCB Designer We are seeking an experienced PCB Designer to support the development of advanced AC/DC, DC/DC, and DC/AC power conversion systems. In this role, you will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to design printed circuit boards used across a wide spectrum of military applications — including radar, RF communications, battery charging, autonomous systems, onboard power, and mission computing.
The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, quality‑focused, and thrives in a collaborative, highly technical environment.
Location: Remote
Key Responsibilities:
Create PCB layouts using industry‑standard CAD software
Design digital and analog circuits for power electronics applications
Prepare fabrication and assembly documentation for suppliers and manufacturing
Implement test plans to ensure compliance, reliability, and performance
Revise designs based on engineering feedback and customer specifications
Develop and maintain PCB design and documentation guidelines
Support DFM/DFT considerations across cross‑functional teams
Work on multi‑layer, high‑power, and standard PCB configurations
Support continuous improvement of internal design processes and standards
Required Qualifications:
Associate degree in electronics or related field, or 5–7 years experience in the electrical industry
Minimum 5 years experience in PCB layout/design
Strong understanding of electronic components and PCB design principles
Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB tools (PCAD, Altium, SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
Familiarity with power topologies, thermal strategies, and control systems
Ability to work independently and meet design/production deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience designing for military, aerospace, or ruggedized electronics
Knowledge of IPC standards & DFM practices
Familiarity with EMI/EMC considerations in PCB design
