Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm
(2) 15 min paid breaks and (1) 30 min unpaid lunch
Pay Rate:
Starting up to $20.50/hr
Job Summary Candidate must have manufacturing experience with machine operation or maintenance experience. Candidate must be comfortable working in production as part of a team with specific production goals. Previous work experience in a fast-paced environment, operating machines or heavy equipment to specific measurements or print specifications is required. The person selected will be working directly with other members of the production team, safety, quality and engineering.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities include the following
Machine operator and/or machine maintenance experience
Ability to learn and follow work instructions
Perform and adhere to Lock Out Tag Out safety standards
Monitor and troubleshoot machines and processes by checking running conditions such as speed of output, pressure, temperatures, wind and unwind tensions to ensure quality and production goals are met
Plan, organize and actively participate in activities such as change-over procedures, instructing material handlers to provide needed materials, recording tags and labels for production rolls/orders while machine is running.
Assist with data entry and management through ERP system
Perform Quality Inspections and make appropriate decisions with input or advice from the supervisor regarding line speed, quality of product adjustments and machine maintenance.
Meet / Exceed production standards
Excellent time management and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and with a team
Self-Motivated
Follows Company safety and department policies and procedures
Maintains neat and clean work environment following 5S methodology
Makes recommendations to continually improve processes
Performs other duties as assigned

The qualifications listed below are representative of the minimum knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required. High School diploma / GED preferred
Proven commitment to quality compliance and productivity
Two months job related experience required, including machine operator / maintenance
Ability to identify ultrasonic, thermal, electrical and pneumatic concerns
Ability to follow work instructions from start up to shut down
Knowledge of company safety, OSHA and department policies and procedures including Lock Out Tag Out
Good applied interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to read and comprehend basic English and perform basic math functions including reading a tape measure
Ability to be self‑motivated
Workplace Experience
Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.
Ergonomic Requirements
Ability to Stand for Long Periods of Time
Ability to use Power Tools safely
