Now Hiring – Part-Time Associate Therapist (AMFT/APCC/ASW)
Semillas Individual & Couples Therapy – Montebello, CA
Semillas Individual and Couples Therapy is growing, and we’re looking to add a warm, grounded clinician to our team. We are a culturally-rooted group practice serving a diverse community, with a strong focus on supporting Spanish‑speaking clients and families.
Position Highlights
Part‑Time
Must be available Fridays & Saturdays (opportunities to expand to additional days)
Spanish‑speaking required
Psychodynamic & somatic orientation strongly preferred
Caseload development required (with support from the practice!)
Short mock session video required as part of the hiring process
Who We’re Looking For
Fluent in Spanish (Spanish‑speaking is essential for the clients we serve)
Strong grounding in psychodynamic and/or somatic therapy
Values culture, identity, and community connection in the therapy process
Can adapt to different situations, clients, and practice needs
Can hold space with warmth—not rigid or overly Type‑A structured
Willing to collaborate in building their caseload
Enjoys working with individuals and/or couples
Approaches clients with curiosity, humility, and openness
Requirements
AMFT, APCC, or ASW in good standing (supervision provided)
Bilingual: English & Spanish
Available Fridays & Saturdays (room for expansion as caseload grows)
Comfort working with diverse populations
Ability to submit a 10–15 minute recorded mock therapy session as part of the interview process
