ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS Warmly welcome guests, inform them of specials, and answer questions. Take food and beverage orders, make recommendations, and upsell items.
Accurately input orders into the POS system and prepare itemized checks, including tax. Present checks to guests, process payments, and provide change.
Serve food and beverages, check back to ensure guest satisfaction, and address any issues with urgency and professionalism.
Pre-bus tables throughout service, removing unused or dirty dishes, utensils, glasses, and trash, and transporting them to the kitchen.
Complete assigned pre-shift and post-shift side work as directed by the manager.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or GED preferred
Cash-handling experience preferred
Customer service and/or food & beverage experience required
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Serve Safe, TIPS, or other applicable state alcohol certification required
QUALIFICATIONS Must be at least 18 years old
Strong guest service and interpersonal skills
Ability to be trained in cash handling and POS usage
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Strong menu knowledge and ability to upsell
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
