Position Description This position will be responsible for daily preparation of food products and cook items to-order as per company specifications. This individual will be instrumental in new menu creation / rollout, costing of menu items, and food costs, and oversight of culinary production. The Cook 4 is a skilled culinary person who works with limited supervision. This individual will be responsible for ensuring consistently great food is prepared correctly, presented appropriately and served quickly in order to enhance the vacation experience of our guests and owners.

Education and/or Experience

4 - 6 years culinary experience and two years of high-volume line experience.

Essential Duties and Tasks

Cooks the exact number of items ordered by each customer, working on several different orders simultaneously

Oversees the daily preparation of all food items on the line by ensuring all items are fully stocked and prepared

Controls spoilage by checking temperatures, dates, and maintaining the appropriate amount of food used daily. Monitors and tracks food temperatures and ensures proper reporting.

Trains and assists in the development of junior culinary staff.

Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas by cleaning food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.
