Prepress Supervisor
Westamerica is seeking a detail-oriented Prepress Supervisor to lead our production team. This role requires deep technical knowledge of prepress systems, color workflows, and print production, paired with the ability to lead a team and ensure every file meets the highest production standards.

Responsibilities
Oversee the prepress department, guiding daily operations and driving process enhancements that elevate quality and efficiency.
Collaborate with production and account teams for efficient job flow and file handoff.
Prep, troubleshoot, and optimize print files for litho, digital, and wide format output.
Maintain and enforce prepress SOPs to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency.
Review client-supplied artwork, ensuring files meet print specs and color standards.
Work with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) and RIP software (Prinergy, Caldera).
Manage templates, color profiles, and print areas for new and existing products.
Provide internal support and occasional customer-facing guidance on print setup.
Maintain organized digital file systems and drive continuous improvement in the department.
Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on prepress experience, including digital and offset workflows.
2+ years in a lead or supervisory role preferred.
Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and RIP software (Prinergy, Caldera; Enfocus a plus).
Deep knowledge of color theory, file prep standards, and print production workflows.
Strong attention to detail, quality-driven mindset, and ability to manage deadlines.
A collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-output environment.
