The Registered Nurse in the Outpatient Clinic coordinates and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care according to the Texas Board of Nursing. The clinic operates Monday‑Friday 8 am‑5 pm.
Qualifications
Education:
Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience preferred.
Licensure:
Current Texas State Board of Nursing license.
Additional Requirements:
Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications, possess current CPR certification upon hire, and successfully complete "Handle With Care" training (physical hold and verbal de‑escalation) during orientation.
