Mike Sawyer State Farm is seeking an Insurance Account Representative who excels in client care, manages daily service needs with confidence, and proactively engages in in-book sales and retention efforts.
This role requires Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses. If you’re not yet licensed, our agency offers full support and paid training to help you get started.
Role Overview As an Insurance Account Representative, you’ll support existing customers with policy updates, billing questions, renewals, and coverage guidance. You’ll also identify opportunities to enhance their protection by recommending products that fit their evolving needs. Your work ensures clients feel valued, supported, and confident in their insurance decisions—all while contributing to agency growth.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver Outstanding Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries promptly, professionally, and accurately.
Manage Policy Servicing: Handle coverage changes, billing questions, documentation, and renewal support.
Conduct Policy Reviews: Identify coverage gaps and recommend additional products or enhancements.
Ensure High Client Satisfaction: Maintain detailed customer records and follow up on open items to ensure strong relationships.
Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with colleagues to deliver a consistent, positive customer experience.
Qualifications
Excellent communication, listening, and problem-solving skills
Service-minded approach with confidence to discuss coverage options and recommend solutions
Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
Prior experience in insurance, customer service, or account management preferred
Licensed in Property & Casualty and Life & Health, or willingness to obtain with agency support
