Staffing Manager @ TriSource | Connecting Finance and Accounting Professionals with Valuable Opportunities
TriSource Staffing is partnering with a growing organization to identify a detail‑oriented Staff Accountant to support accounting operations across multiple legal entities. This role is ideal for a hands‑on accounting professional with strong reconciliation skills and experience working in a multi‑entity environment.
Base pay range $35.00/hr - $40.00/hr
What You'll Do:
Record and categorize bank and credit card activity, vendor bills, tenant receipts, owner distributions, and intercompany transfers
Maintain accurate intercompany due‑to / due‑from balances across multiple entities
Process weekly check runs and vendor payments
Prepare and distribute monthly financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and General Ledger detail
Complete month‑end general ledger reconciliations for each entity
Prepare and post recurring monthly journal entries
Support month‑end close and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting
What You'll Bring:
Minimum 2+ years of bookkeeping or staff accounting experience
Strong experience supporting multiple entities; consolidation exposure strongly preferred
Solid understanding of reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements
High attention to detail, strong organization, and ability to work independently
Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to flag issues proactively
Associate's degree in Accounting required (minimum)
Systems & Software:
QuickBooks Online (QBO) – required
QuickBooks Desktop experience and/or QBD to QBO conversion experience strongly preferred
Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams
Adobe Acrobat
Candidates must live within a 30‑minute commute of Chesapeake, VA
Role is onsite, with Friday remote option after 60 days
