Job Location:

Experience:
3+ years in methods engineering or relative aerospace experience, preferred
Job Duties:
Assist processing business unit in creation of shop floor work instructions
Assist with process planning changes and new planning as required
Updating existing planning as needed and required
Understanding process flow
Assist with writing technical instructions and interpreting customer specifications
Understanding 2D & 3D drawings and specifications
Creation of masking templates as required
Communicating with production teams to address any changes or updates to work orders as required
Printing, filing, and help as needed within the Engineering department
Requirements:
3+ years of methods engineering experience or relevant years of experience
Technical Certificate, preferred
Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and CATIA V5, preferred
Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings and specifications
Proficient MS Office skills; strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
Aerospace manufacturing experience, preferred
Familiarity of aerospace paint, chemical processing & NDT methods, preferred
Working knowledge of Visual ERP, preferred
Detail oriented, very organized with the ability to multi-task
Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English language.
Must be a U.S Person/Permanent Resident Green card holder.
Working Conditions:
Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Some overtime may be necessary
Regular attendance is mandatory and must follow all work safety programs
The essential duties job may require the ability to stoop; to reach; to stand, to walk and sit for extended periods of time; to push and/or pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds; to lift and carry objects weighing up to 15 pounds; to use finger dexterity to operate a computer and other office equipment and hand strength to grasp files and other objects; to perceive the attributes of objects by touch; to hear and verbally exchange ideas and information with the public, staff and others on the phone and in the office. Frequently being on foot, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, climb stairs and kneeling and/or crouch to retrieve files and other items. Writing to complete reports and service requests.
Physical Requirements
Job requires lifting of product/supplies ranging from minimal to 25 pounds on occasional basis
Strict compliance with OSHA & Industrial safety practices
Periodic exposure to warm and cold work environments
Individual will be required to be mobile, with bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping, climbing stairs and crouching
