Responsibilities
Independently perform appropriate ultrasonic examinations, using instrumentation settings based on a thorough knowledge of ultrasound physics. Consult with radiologists and referring physicians, providing technical interpretation of diagnostic images. Oversee patient scheduling, coordinate with other areas, and update patient examination history files.
Qualifications
Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology. One year of experience as a sonographer preferred. Achievement of registration by the ARDMS within one year of employment preferred; within two years required. Current license with the New Hampshire Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy. CPR certification must be acquired within three months of hire and updated annually.
Work Schedule
M-Th 9:00pm – 6:30am.
