As an Ultrasonographer at Cheshire Medical Center you will practice with committed Radiology professionals and a range of providers to deliver excellent patient care to our community. You will be asked to perform a variety of highly technical Ultrasound exams and procedures using your skills and understanding of these complicated procedures.

Responsibilities

Independently performs appropriate ultrasonic examinations, utilizing instrumentation settings based on a thorough knowledge of ultrasound physics.

Consults with radiologists and/or referring physicians, providing technical interpretation of diagnostic images.

Oversees patient scheduling and coordinates with other areas. Updates patient examination history file, and records unusual conditions/limitations.

Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology required. One year experience as a Sonographer preferred. Achievement of registration by the ARDMS within one year of employment is preferred, within two years is required. Current license with the New Hampshire Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy. CPR certification must be acquired within three months of hire and updated annually.

Pay Range: $31.5 – $48.83.

Work Status: 3x12 rotating weekdays and every 3rd weekend (specifics available on request).

Employment Type: Full-time 36 hours/week.
