Ultrasonographer - Radiology, Per Diem
Dartmouth Health – Per Diem position at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.
Base Pay Range $31.50/hr – $48.83/hr
Responsibilities
Independently performs appropriate ultrasonic examinations, utilizing instrumentation settings based on a thorough knowledge of ultrasound physics.
Consults with radiologists and/or referring physicians, providing technical interpretation of diagnostic images.
Oversees patient scheduling and coordinates with other areas, updates patient examination history files, and records unusual conditions or limitations.
Qualifications
Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
Preferred: One year experience as a sonographer.
Preferred: Achievement of registration by the ARDMS within one year of employment; required within two years.
Current license with the New Hampshire Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy.
CPR certification acquired within three months of hire and updated annually.
