Coordinate all Customer Service & Support activities and programs to ensure a safe, healthy, accident‑free, and productive work environment for all employees. Responsibilities
Primary
Process and log yard sorts a. Receive yard sort requests b. Develop system for logging requests, including purpose, lead, start and end times, as well as sort team members. c. Log sorts onto computer, including start and end times. Monitor yard sort teams a. Visually monitor yard sort teams and quality of work and number of participants. b. Observe proper procedures and team wear of all sort team members. c. Ask questions to team lead as needed. d. Respond to sort team members as requested. Secondary
Inspect truck loading area a. Inspect the truck load lanes each hour to ensure cleanliness. b. Report any spills or trash to the driver or carrier office. c. Log inspection results in logbook. d. Perform light clean up (pick up small trash) when easily accomplished. e. Notify Customer Service Manager and Facilities Maintenance of a spill. Survey yard for visitors a. Find Veles data as requested by operations. b. Report results via email or spreadsheet. Monitor and troubleshoot and IT problems a. Monitor phone and email communications. b. Use Veles to place vehicles on hold, or release holds as requested. c. Other duties as assigned. Education & Experience
HS Diploma/G.E.D. Required 1 year of indirect experience Required 2 - 5 years of direct experience Required Skills
Ability to work effectively in group/team settings Required Ability to respond to IT problems and Customer queries Required Interpersonal and communication skills Required Knowledge of MS Office applications to include Excel experience Required Working and Environmental Conditions
This position works in a plant manufacturing/warehouse setting at
