Role Description This is a full-time or part-time on-site role for a
Pediatric Physical Therapist
located in Tampa, FL. The Pediatric Physical Therapist will work with infants, children, and adolescents to assess motor development, movement patterns, strength, coordination, and functional mobility. Responsibilities include developing individualized treatment plans, providing early intervention services, and delivering engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions. The therapist will continually monitor progress, adjust intervention strategies, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and other healthcare or educational professionals.
Qualifications
Strong skills in pediatric motor development, gait training, therapeutic exercise, and neuromuscular re-education
Experience with
pediatrics , including infants and early intervention (0–3 years)
Ability to connect with and motivate children of all ages and abilities
Excellent communication, family-training, and interpersonal skills
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
or
Master’s in Physical Therapy
from an accredited program
Valid
Florida Physical Therapist license
or eligibility for licensure
Experience in clinical, outpatient, home-based, or educational settings is a plus
