In this role, you’ll assume end-to-end ownership of the M&A strategy and execution function — from building relationships with company founders to creating financial models and analyses — at a highly acquisitive, well-capitalized industrial software company (four acquisitions completed in the last two years and accelerating). You’ll also receive hands‑on mentorship from senior leaders with deep operational and M&A experience at leading Fortune 500 companies.

Strategic Growth & Portfolio Development

Support the identification, evaluation, and execution of enterprise-level growth initiatives aligned with Irth’s strategic objectives.

Conduct market and competitive analyses across critical infrastructure and energy sectors to identify trends, disruptors, and acquisition targets.

Partner with business unit leaders to assess strategic fit and long-term value creation potential.

Mergers & Acquisitions

Lead detailed financial modeling, valuation, and scenario analyses for prospective acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures.

Support all phases of M&A transactions, including target screening, due diligence coordination, transaction structuring, and integration planning.

Work cross‑functionally with Finance, Legal, HR, Operations, and Engineering to evaluate synergies and ensure alignment with Irth’s operational and compliance standards.

Financial & Valuation Analysis

Develop complex valuation models using DCF, precedent transaction, and comparable company methodologies.

Prepare financial forecasts, synergy estimates, and return‑on‑investment analyses for executive review.

Provide data‑driven recommendations and financial insights to support capital allocation and investment decisions.

Enterprise Collaboration

Serve as a central resource supporting both corporate and business unit leadership in strategic growth planning.

Facilitate alignment between Corporate Development, Strategy, and Finance functions on enterprise‑level priorities.

Maintain a deep understanding of Irth’s markets, technologies, and program portfolio to ensure strategic coherence across the enterprise.

Executive Reporting & Communication

Prepare high‑quality presentations, investment memoranda, and strategic briefings for the CEO, COO, CTO, CBO, CFO, and Board of Directors.

Communicate complex financial and market insights in a clear, concise, and actionable manner for executive audiences.

Qualifications

+ 2 years of relevant experience in strategy, corporate development, consulting or general management roles.

Expert‑level financial modeling and valuation capability.

Deep understanding of corporate finance, strategic planning, and transaction structuring.

Familiarity with SaaS/technology metrics and investor reporting.

Comfort working in a small team/startup‑like environment with high visibility.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA/CPA/CFA a plus)

Technical Skills

Proficiency in Windows operating suite.

Familiarity with financial systems / ERPs and other standard SaaS operating systems (Sage Intacct, Rippling, Salesforce, HubSpot)

Soft Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
