Summary A well-known tribal owned health organization based in Anchorage is seeking a motivated accounting professional to join their team. This position reports directly to the Controller and is responsible for maintaining and processing various financial records and performing numerous accounting responsibilities for the organization.
Duties
Accounting ledger maintenance
Reconciliation for bank, travel, and vendor accounts
Historical records and document filing maintenance
Keeping organization information confidential
Support and back-up for Accounts Payable and Receivable department as needed
Monitor and analyze & resolve discrepancies
Requirements Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of one year admin experience in accounting, word processing, data entry or file management
Sage experience preferred
Tribal health or rural health care knowledge preferred
Pass background check & drug screening-including cannabis
Additional:
Native Preference given to qualified Alaska Native/American Indian applicants.
