Base Pay Range $50,000.00/yr - $60,000.00/yr
Position Overview We are seeking a Junior Staff Accountant to join a small, collaborative accounting team. This role is ideal for a recent accounting graduate or early‑career professional who is eager to build a strong technical accounting foundation. The position is heavily focused on reconciliations, journal entries, and cash transactions, with long-term growth potential into an Assistant Controller role. This is a highly visible position with exposure to senior leadership and opportunities to expand responsibilities over time.
Key Responsibilities
Perform bank account, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations
Prepare and post journal entries and monthly accruals
Assist with the month‑end close process, including revenue recognition
Accurately record and manage a high volume of cash transactions
Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
Support financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities
Collaborate with internal teams on financial analysis and special projects
Interface with external partners such as auditors, banks, and vendors
Assist with ERP system reporting and fixed asset tracking
Perform other accounting duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
(required)
Strong understanding of technical accounting fundamentals
Intermediate Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a fully onsite environment
Preferred Profile
Recent accounting graduate or early‑career professional
Experience with reconciliations and journal entries (internships or entry‑level roles acceptable)
Motivated, coachable, and interested in long‑term career growth
