Salary: $33–$35 per hour depending on experience

Hours & Location

Monday – Friday, first shift 3 am–3 pm

1 Saturday every 4th week

30–40% off‑site work

Primary location: repair/maintenance shop, Austin, TX

Responsibilities

Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.

Estimate time and material costs for vehicle repairs and parts.

Perform work within our Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs).

Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns.

Conduct safety checks on vehicles, ensuring compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.

Complete required paperwork documenting parts usage and repair times.

Assist senior mechanics with project work and Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.

Maintain a clean, safe work area in accordance with established safety procedures.

Qualifications

At least 4 years of relevant work experience.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Over 18 years of age.

Legally eligible to work in the United States.

Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Successful completion of pre‑employment drug screening and physical exam.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, and climbing; constant standing, walking, and grasping; occasional sitting and balancing.

Exposure to physical occupational risks such as cuts, burns, and toxic chemicals.

Exposure to dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes, and similar environmental elements.

Work conditions include both indoor garage/shop or gas plant and outdoor environments with inclement weather, heat, and humidity.
