Position Overview We are seeking motivated individuals to operate plastic injection molding equipment in a cleanroom environment, producing precision components. This role involves performing in-process inspections, documenting production data, and following work instructions to ensure high-quality output. Operators will work independently or under supervision, contributing to a safe and efficient manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor plastic injection molding machines. Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators. Record inspection results and production data in ERP or other computer systems. Follow work instructions, blueprints, and standard procedures to maintain quality standards. Adjust priorities as needed and support cross-functional tasks to drive continuous improvement. Assist with other duties as assigned to maintain efficient production flow.
Qualifications Ability to work with small, precision parts requiring tight tolerances. Basic understanding of blueprints or technical drawings is preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude, math skills, and ability to follow detailed instructions. 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing or machine operation is desirable. Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working efficiently in a team environment. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Education High school diploma, GED, or vocational/technical training in manufacturing or machining.
Physical Requirements Frequent repetitive work and standing. Occasional lifting or carrying up to 40 lbs. Exposure to moving equipment and machinery. Continuous use of safety glasses and full PPE. Occasional sitting, walking, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
