Pediatric Emergency Room Nurse (PEDS ER RN)
Start Date: ASAP • Available Shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
The Pediatric ER RN provides immediate and specialized care to infants, children, and adolescents experiencing medical emergencies. This role demands quick thinking, clinical expertise, and compassionate communication with young patients and their families in high‑stress situations. The RN stabilizes patients experiencing trauma, helps minimize pain, and works in hospital emergency rooms, ER and ED departments, ambulances, helicopters, urgent care centers, sports arenas, and other acute care settings. ERs and hospitals are rated Level I–III based on resources and patient volume, with Level I offering comprehensive trauma care.
Education / Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN): 4‑Year Education
Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN): 2‑Year Education
Must earn an ADN or BSN degree and pass the NCLEX to apply for a RN license.
RNs must hold an active state license.
*BSN Required· 2 years recent experience required
