Veterinary Client Service Representative
Saint Francis Veterinary Specialists and Emergency is looking for a Veterinary Client Service Representative to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community. Location: Decatur, Georgia. Schedule: 4 ten‑hour shifts; every other weekend required. Full‑time.
About You We are seeking an individual with strong emotional competencies, positive attitude, authenticity, exceptional customer service, and caring empathy. The candidate should have experience in customer service leadership, a strong work ethic, warm personality, and preferably experience in a specialty and/or emergency setting.
Qualifications
High school diploma
Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows, email
Experience in team scheduling
2–4 years of veterinary customer service experience
Highly developed written/communication skills
Exceptional organization and attention to detail
Ability to adapt and work well in a busy environment
Ability to lead a team of client service representatives
Ensure accurate client and patient information, schedule appointments, obtain signatures
Document client correspondence; extract and send requested information from medical records
Create accurate medical records: verify charges, scan paperwork, attach records
Support service departments with scanning, faxes, entering patient weights, contacting clients for paperwork and deposits
Process client payments (cash, credit, check, scratch pay, Care Credit)
Comfortable around cats and dogs; able to lift up to 30 lbs
What You Will Do
Professionally greet clients and patients; deliver exceptional customer service
Answer client questions and concerns in a friendly, kind, informative manner
Communicate and collaborate with staff about patient care and client questions
Document all communications
Maintain lobby and exam room areas
Perform administrative intake duties
Manage appointment schedule and confirm upcoming appointments
Maintain positive attitude, etiquette, professionalism, and kindness
Foster an enthusiastic, collaborative, respectful team culture
Train new team members and promote learning environment
Handle each client interaction with care and efficiency
Working Conditions Exposure to biohazardous substances, chemical hazards, unpleasant odors, loud noises, animal feces, and emotionally stressful situations.
