Join Our Neonatology Team in Wichita, KS!
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Neonatologist to join a well‑respected and established Neonatology practice in Wichita, Kansas. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a team that focuses on quality improvement and teamwork in a dynamic clinical setting. The position is based at a premier facility with a Level‑III, 60‑bed NICU that handles around 6,000 deliveries annually.
Job Responsibilities
Provide in‑house coverage with a combination of 8 and 24‑hour shifts on a 7‑week rotating schedule. Participate actively in an 8‑physician practice at Wesley Medical Center. Offer in‑house call and backup call from home. Care for an average daily census of 54 infants in the NICU. Engage in quality improvement initiatives and research opportunities through affiliation with KU School of Medicine Wichita. Provide support and supervision to residents and nurse practitioners. Open to new Fellow graduates who are Board Certified in Pediatrics. Qualifications
Board Certified in Pediatrics. Truly Board‑eligible or Board Certified in Neonatal‑Perinatal Medicine. Fellowship‑trained in Neonatal‑Perinatal Medicine (to be completed prior to start). Clean malpractice and license history highly preferred. Kansas medical license (or willingness to obtain). License and Certification Requirements
DEA registration (must be obtained prior to start). Copy of most recent NPDB Report (within 30 to 60 days active). Support for J1 and H1B visa candidates available.
