Job Description And Duties Under direct supervision of the Correctional Plant Manager II, the Equipment Maintenance Supervisor, CF is responsible to oversee all aspects of the CMC Garage, including the supervision of the repair and maintenance of automotive and other mechanical equipment; submit purchase documents and evaluate the usage of current inventory; required to maintain order and supervise the conduct of garage staff and incarcerated persons ; to protect these persons, others, and/or property; prevent escapes and injury by these persons and others; maintains the security of the working areas, materials and tools; inspects premises and search incarcerated persons for contraband such as weapons or illegal drugs; trains, instructs, leads and supervises staff, and performs other work as required.
