We are seeking a hands-on, forward-thinking Controller to lead financial operations for a growing organization in the power systems and grid reliability space. This role will support a business undergoing operational expansion, system upgrades, and integration with partner teams.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys building processes, improving financial infrastructure, and collaborating closely with executive leadership to support long-term strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities Take full ownership of company financials and ensure compliance with GAAP.

Establish, upgrade, and enforce internal controls and accounting policies.

Implement or improve accounting systems and audit processes (QuickBooks or equivalent ERP).

Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.

Mentor and develop senior accounting team members.

Operational Finance & Key Metrics Build and maintain key operational KPIs, including on-time delivery, purchase order volume, backlog tracking, and productivity metrics.

Improve cross-functional alignment between finance, production, engineering, and field services.

Provide operational teams with cost analysis, forecasting, and workflow recommendations.

Strategic Finance & Reporting Deliver clear, data-driven reporting to company leadership and stakeholders.

Develop financial models, scenario plans, and tools to support growth strategies.

Recommend initiatives to improve revenue, margins, cash flow, and long-term financial performance.

Cross-Functional Integration Partner with leadership teams across related service divisions to align financial reporting and operational workflows.

Support initiatives that create a seamless lifecycle between diagnostic monitoring and field services.

Must-Have Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Deep understanding of GAAP, internal controls, financial reporting, and audit processes.

Strong experience with QuickBooks or equivalent accounting/ERP systems; prior implementation experience a plus.

Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and elevate team members.

Excellent communication skills; comfortable presenting and partnering with executives.
