Your Role at Acousti As a Drywall Foreman, you will oversee multiple site-based construction operations on commercial and government projects, working closely with managers to ensure deadlines, safety protocols, and quality standards are met. This role will allow you to showcase your skills in guiding teams and maintaining a productive work environment.
In this role, you will contribute directly to the success of our company by ensuring efficient operations and delivering high-quality results. You will work closely with our dynamic team and play a key part in supporting our day-to-day operations, ensuring our high standards are maintained.
Responsibilities In this role, you will:
Promote job site safety, rectify hazards, and encourage safe work practices
Direct production activities and maintain the construction schedule
Supervise employees, including subcontractors, and maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, and suppliers
Ensure timely submission of all job reports and documentation, including photographic records of work completed, safety issues, and damage
Thoroughly review and understand project floor plans and construction drawings
Work on scaffolds, aerial lifts, ladders, and stilts, and use powder actuated tools and lasers
Work both indoors and outdoors, maintaining construction schedules and phasing
Perform additional duties as assigned
What We're Looking for in You To succeed in this role, you should have:
4+ years of experience as a Foreman in commercial drywall framing, with knowledge of materials, methods, tools, and blueprints
Expertise in metal framing, drywall, FRP work, finishing work, and acoustic ceilings
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects independently
Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills
A solid understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and blueprint reading
Tools and transportation
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and stand or walk for up to 8 hours per day
Preferred Qualifications In addition to the above, we would prefer candidates with:
Familiarity with software such as Bluebeam, PlanGrid, PDF Expert, and Dropbox
Willingness to travel or work outside of home territory, as needed
Ability to maintain a positive attitude and composure in stressful situations
Education Requirements Preferred:
High school diploma or equivalent
