Work Arrangement In-person 2 days a week, remote 3 days a week.

Overview The candidate will lead a hybrid, multi‑vendor deployment supporting a hybrid workforce. Responsibilities include communicating with stakeholders, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with PM methodology.

Responsibilities

Utilize the Department Project Portfolio Management Tool (Clarity) to prepare project schedules, assign resources, and manage budgets.

Prepare information for presentations to executives, managers, and project team members.

Monitor, control, and communicate project progress; manage cost, schedule, scope, resources, quality, and risks.

Communicate timely and accurately with stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, program managers, and district management.

Lead and foster collaboration between technical and business teams, obtaining consensus and commitment.

Develop and maintain key PMM deliverables: Project Charter, Schedule, Budget, Communication Plan, Status Report, Risk and Issue Plans, Change Requests, and Project Close‑out Summary.

Manage interfaces and communication with other agencies.

Ensure adherence to the SUITE PMM and System Engineering Methodology (SEM); oversee timely transitions through project phases.

Facilitate the Change Management process; ensure Change Requests receive proper approval before action.

Create corrective action plans (CAP) for projects in yellow or red status.

Understand project benefits and the impact of change requests on benefit business cases; update artifacts accordingly.

Review vendor contracts; manage vendor deliverables and approval procedures.

Facilitate stakeholder interactions, clarify expectations, and ensure deliverables are assigned, reviewed, and completed.

Qualifications

Oracle/SAP ERP experience with global ERP project management, leading a 20+ member team and managing a $750M+ budget.

10+ years of formal IT project management experience; 7+ years delivering projects on time and on budget.

Experience establishing and maintaining project budgets, schedules, change requests, risk and issue logs.

Proficiency using project portfolio management tools such as Clarity.

Advanced working knowledge of MS Project (5+ years).

5 years experience managing stakeholders and system owners across departments.

5 years overseeing technical teams for system architecture and SaaS integration.

5 years providing PM services for IT projects involving COTS.

5 years managing multi‑vendor environments in a governmental setting.

5 years developing and maintaining detailed project integration schedules (5,000+ lines).

5 years experience as a developer or senior technical project manager.

Possession of a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

PMP certification highly desired for 3 years of experience.
