Project Manager
Location:
Columbus, IN (Client relocating to Shelbyville in 8 months)
Compensation:
$100,000 - $115,000/yr
Responsibilities:
Manage existing key customer accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for assigned projects
Own projects end-to-end, from initial customer request through delivery, installation, and commissioning
Maintain ongoing customer communication to ensure alignment, satisfaction, and successful handover
Coordinate technical and commercial project details, including scope, timelines, costs, and contractual requirements
Ensure compliance with internal standards, quality requirements, and commercial objectives
Prepare and negotiate project offers using internal design tools, cost estimates, and corporate guidelines
Procure materials and coordinate engineering, production, and delivery activities to keep projects on schedule
Manage project risks, change requests, quality claims, and overall cost control
Required Skills & Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in account and project management for engineered industrial products (e.g., automated systems, PLC-based equipment, custom or industrial machinery)
Ability to interpret technical requirements and negotiate within corporate guidelines and procedures
Willingness to travel up to 25%, both domestically and internationally
