Key Responsibilities
Conduct all preventative maintenance on a scheduled basis
Troubleshoot and correct equipment failures: extrusion, cut and strip, electric cut, hydraulic presses
Maintain building maintenance: lights, plumbing, general maintenance
Build/repair simple fixtures, "home built" equipment
Build/repair shop shelving, tables, etc.
Required Abilities
Mechanical and Electrical capabilities
Plumbing, some HVAC
PLC Controls
Simple Hydraulics & Pneumatics
Fork truck certified
Ability to read and understand equipment drawing, electrical schematics
Ability to operate common machine shop equipment (drill press, grinder, lathe, etc.)
Welding, Oxy‑Acetylene
Proficient with personal computers
Beneficial Education, Experience
Experience in prior Maintenance Role
Experience in maintenance on press equipment a plus
Some knowledge/experience with AutoCAD
Knowledge of FastTrack a plus
Physical Capabilities
Ability to stand for 2‑4 hour increments
Work at heights up to 25 feet on a raised lift
Ability to lift up 25 pounds (frequently)
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds (infrequently)
Works in a manufacturing environment
